WHO WE ARE
Naut Normal is an educational nonprofit organization. A global network of space-minded individuals and companies striving to make human spaceflight common knowledge. Our ultimate endeavor is to take normal life to space, securing our future as a multiplanetary species. We focus predominately on high school students, getting them involved early in with spaceflight curriculum and simulated astronaut training.
What We Do
The Naut Normal team is building simplified spaceflight curriculum that invites adolescents and young adults to understand fundamental spaceflight concepts. Our 10-module curriculum will be open source, with various distribution methods for extended content.
We aim to work with schools and local communities to build meaningful relationships through our organization. Extending the reach and competency of general spaceflight education is at the heart of our cause.
Our team is focused on securing and launching the first high school astronaut training, or HSAT, program that is dedicated to inspiring and preparing high school students for careers in space exploration, regardless of their location or access to in-person resources, through a combination of aerospace education, physical training, technical training, and leadership and teamwork development.

Why We are Needed
The LEGO survey, conducted in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, found that 86% of children say they’re interested in space exploration and 90% want to learn more about it.
Only 53% of kids say their interest in space is fueled by their parents, citing teachers (79%) and the internet (71%) as primary learning sources.
75% of kids believe that humans will live in outer space or on a different planet; however, only 7% of children see a role for a Farmer/Gardener in the space program, an indication that kids may not realize all of the different jobs required to support space travel.
The survey showed today's children are nearly 3X more likely to aspire to be a YouTuber (29%) than an Astronaut (11%).
