High School Astronaut Training

The HSAT (High School Astronaut Training) program is a unique opportunity for high school students to explore and discover their passion for space exploration. Our program includes a variety of activities and experiences designed to introduce students to the field of space exploration and to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to pursue a career as an astronaut.

Vision

Our vision for the High School Astronaut Training (HSAT) program is to provide a gateway for high school students to explore and discover their passion for space exploration, regardless of their location or access to in-person resources. We believe that every student has the potential to be an astronaut, and we are committed to providing a range of online and in-person resources and support to help them realize their full potential. Our program is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with the goal of attracting a diverse group of students from all backgrounds and regions.

How This Helps Students

Experiential Learning

An astronaut training program will provide students with a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on, experiential learning that goes beyond traditional classroom instruction. This will help students to develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and teamwork skills that are essential for success in any field.

Career Preparation

The astronaut training program will expose students to potential career paths in the space industry, giving them a chance to explore their interests and passions. This will also help students to develop the technical skills and knowledge needed for success in related careers.

STEM Education

The astronaut training program will provide a fun and engaging way for students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. This will help to increase their interest and proficiency in these subjects, which can translate into greater academic success and career opportunities.

Personal Growth

The challenges and rigor of an astronaut training program will help students to develop resilience, perseverance, and a growth mindset. These qualities are essential for success in any field and will help students to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Inspiration

An astronaut training program will inspire students to dream big and pursue their passions, encouraging them to believe that anything is possible with hard work and dedication. This will help to increase their motivation, engagement, and overall sense of purpose in life.
